The Origins \u2013 When Shuttles Were Handmade<\/b><\/h2>\n

The first looms were frame-like structures, and the shuttle was just a stick covered with yarn. These early tools took patience, skill, and hours upon hours of work. Each inch of cloth was a labour of love.<\/span><\/p>\n

The flying shuttle, invented by John Kay in 1733, was a breakthrough.
